Dear Sir,

Exactly correct, the DFS18 has polyprop drivers, but the 'Diamond DFS18'
has the KEVLAR drivers. Otherwise, they are exactly the same.
The difference is only in the tonality of the cone material.

Best Regards

Subject: customer question -- bass/mid drive unit for DFS-18

Dear the Customer Service Representative,

I'm K. S. Bae, as one of your valued customers, who has been interested
in your speaker products since the beginning of my home theater enjoyment.

I'd ask for your kind comment on the DFS-18 series speakers.
I bought one DFS-18 speaker pair at a truthworthy e-shopping mall two
days ago. I got to know in your website that the DFS-18 speaker,
as your latest new model for surround effect, had kevlar units for
bass/mid range. The applying of the kevlar units to this model became
a reason I bought it.

I was happy unpacking the speakers delivered 2 days after I placed
an order. But in a moment, I got surprised to notice through the
specification table in the instruction manual that what I bought was
not ones with kevlar units but ones with polyproplylene units, and my
speaker model no was DFS-18, not Diamond DFS-18. In other words,
I understand the Diamond DFS-18 has kevlar units, while the DFS-18
has only polypropylene units. My speaker, the DFS-18 was made in
China.

Consequently, I'd ask you to answer to the following question.

1. Is the DFS-18 incorporating polypropylene units also one of your
DFS line-up?
2. Is the crossover network of the DFS-18 the same as that of the
Diamond DFS-18 except for the difference of the bass/mid drive
unit between two models?

Sincerely,
